1 KAPA      𐤀    𐤊𐤐

1 PETER

CHAPTER 1

1 Kapa, an ambassador of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 (YAHUSHA) Ha'masha'yakh (The Anointed One), to the chosen ones who are abiding as foreigners in the dispersion in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,

2 according to the foreknowledge of ALUAH the Father, in made apartness of the RUKH, that you may obey 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 (YAHUSHA) Ha'masha'yakh (The Anointed One) and be sprinkled with His blood: Favor to you and shalum (peace) be multiplied.

3 Baruk be the ALUAH and Father of our Sovereign 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 (YAHUSHA) Ha'masha'yakh (The Anointed One), who according to his great compassion became our father again to an abiding compassion through the resurrection of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 (YAHUSHA) Ha'masha'yakh (The Anointed One) from the dead,

4 to an incorruptible and undefiled inheritance that does not fade away, reserved in shama'ym for you,

5 who by the power of ALUAH are guarded through trust for a saving ready to be revealed in the last time.

6 Wherein you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been put to grief in various trials,

7 that the proof of your trust, which is more precious than gold that perishes even though it is tested by fire, may be found to result in praise, respect, and esteem at the revelation of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 (YAHUSHA) Ha'masha'yakh (The Anointed One)—

8 whom not having seen you love, in whom, though now you do not see him, yet trusting, you rejoice greatly with joy unspeakable and full of esteem—

9 receiving the result of your trust, the saving of your beings.

10 Concerning this saving, the nab’ya’ym (prophets) sought and searched diligently, who nab’a (prophesied) of the favor that would come to you,

11 searching for who or what kind of time the RUKH of Ha'masha'yakh (The Anointed One) that was in them, pointed to, when He predicted the sufferings of Ha'masha'yakh (The Anointed One), and the esteems that would follow them.

12 To them it was revealed, that not to themselves, but to you, they attended these that now have been announced to you through those who preached the Good News to you by The RUKH HA’QADUSH, sent out from shama'ym, which messengers desire to look into.

13 Therefore, having girded up the loins of your mind, be sober and place your expectation fully on the favor that will be brought to you at the revelation of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 (YAHUSHA) Ha'masha'yakh (The Anointed One)—

14 as children of obedience, not conforming yourselves according to your former desires as in your ignorance,

15 But as He who called you is made apart, you yourselves also be made apart in all of your behavior,

16 Because it is written, "You shall be made apart, for I am made apart.”

17 If you call on Him as Father, who without partiality judges according to each man's work, pass the time of your living as sojourners here in reverent fear:

18 knowing that you were redeemed, not with corruptible, with silver or gold, from the useless way of life handed down from your fathers,

19 but with precious blood, as of a faultless and pure lamb, the blood of Ha'masha'yakh (The Anointed One),

20 who was foreknown indeed before the foundation of the world, but revealed at the end of times for your sake,

21 who through him trust in ALUAH, who raised him from the dead and gave him esteem, so that your trust and expectation will be in ALUAH.

22 Seeing you have purified your beings in your obedience to the truth through The RUKH in sincere brotherly affection, love one another from the heart fervently:

23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the Word of ALUAH that abides and remains forever.

24 For: "All flesh is like grass, and all of man's esteem like the flower in the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls,

25 But The Word OF ALUAH endures forever." And this is the word of Bashar’ah (Good News) that was announced to you.

CHAPTER 2

1 Putting away therefore all wickedness, all deceit, hypocrisies, envies, and all evil speaking,

2 as newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the Word, that you may grow thereby,

3 if indeed you have tasted that The Sovereign is good:

4 coming to him, a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by ALUAH, precious.

5 You also, as living stones, are built up as a house of the rukh, to be a made apart  ka’ahn (priesthood), to offer up offerings of the rukh, acceptable to ALUAH through 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 (YAHUSHA) Ha'masha'yakh (The Anointed One).

6 Because it is contained in Scripture: "Behold, I lay in Tsa’yun (Tsa’yoon) a chief cornerstone, chosen, and precious: He who trusts in him will not be ashamed."

7 For you who trust therefore is the esteem, but for those who are disobedient: "The stone which the builders rejected, has become the chief cornerstone,"

8 And: “A stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense." For they stumble at the Word, being disobedient, to which also they were appointed.

9 But you are a chosen race, a royal ka’ahn (priesthood), a made apart nation, a people for ALUAH's own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light:

10 who in time past were no people, but now are ALUAH's people, who had not obtained compassion, but now have obtained compassion.

11 Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, to abstain from fleshly desires that war against the being,

12 having conduct among the nations, so in that of which they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they see, esteem ALUAH in the day of visitation.

13 Therefore subject yourselves to every ordinance of man for The Sovereign’s sake: whether to the king, as supreme,

14 or to governors, as sent by him for vengeance on evildoers and for praise to those who do well.

15 For this is the will of ALUAH, that by welldoing you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:

16 as free, and not using your freedom for a cloak of wickedness, but as bondservants of ALUAH.

17 Respect all, love the brotherhood. Fear ALUAH. Respect the king.

18 Servants, be in subjection to your sovereigns with all fear, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the wicked.

19 For it is commendable if someone endures pain, suffering unrighteously, because of conscience toward ALUAH.

20 For what esteem is it if, when you transgress, you patiently endure beating? But if, when you do well, you patiently endure suffering, this is commendable with ALUAH.

21 For to this you were called, because Ha'masha'yakh (The Anointed One) also suffered for us, leaving you an example, that you should follow His steps,

22 who did not sin: “Neither was deceit found in His mouth."

23 Who, when he was reproached, did not reproach in return. When He suffered, did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously,

24 who His own self bore our transgressions in his body on the TREE, that we, having died to transgressions, might abide to righteousness, by whose stripes you were healed.

25 For you were going astray like sheep, but now have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your beings.

CHAPTER 3

1 In the same way, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands, so that, even if any do not obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word,

2 seeing your pure behavior in fear.

3 Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning of arranging the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on fine clothing,

4 but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet rukh, which is in the sight of ALUAH very precious.

5 For this is how the made apart women before, who expected in ALUAH also adorned themselves, being in subjection to their own husbands:

6 As Sharah obeyed Abara’ahm, calling him sovereign, whose children you now are, if you do well, and are not put in fear by any terror.

7 You husbands, in the same way, abide with your wives according to knowledge, giving esteem to the woman as to the weaker vessel, as being also joint heirs of the favor of khaYah (life), that your prayers are not hindered.

8 Finally, be all like minded, compassionate, loving as brothers, tenderhearted, courteous,

9 not rendering evil for evil, or insult for insult, but instead Barakah, knowing that to this were you called, that you may inherit a Barakah.

10 For: “He who would love khaYah (life) and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking deceit.

11 Let him turn away from evil and do good. Let him seek shalum (peace) and pursue it.

12 For the eyes of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHUAH) are on the righteous, and His ears open to their prayer, but the face of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHUAH) is against those who do evil."

13 Now who is he who will harm you, if you become imitators of that which is good?

14 But even if you should suffer for righteousness' sake, you are joyful. "Do not fear what they fear, neither be troubled."

15 But make apart 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHUAH) ALUAH in your hearts, and always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the expectancy that is in you, with humility and fear:

16 having a good conscience, so that while you are spoken against as evildoers, they may be ashamed who curse your good way of khaYah (life) in Ha'masha'yakh (The Anointed One).

17 For it is better, if it is ALUAH's will, that you suffer for doing good than for doing evil.

18 Because Ha'masha'yakh (The Anointed One) also suffered for transgressions once, the righteous for the unrighteous, that He might bring you to ALUAH, being put to death in the flesh, but made abiding IN THE RUKH,

19 In that He also went and proclaimed to the rukh’uth in prison,

20 who before were disobedient, when ALUAH waited patiently in the days of Nakh, while the ship was being built. In it few, that is, eight beings, were saved through water.

21 This is a symbol of immersion that now saves you—not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward ALUAH, through the resurrection of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 (YAHUSHA) Ha'masha'yakh (The Anointed One),

22 who is at the right hand of ALUAH, having gone into shama'ym, messengers and authorities and powers being made subject to Him.

CHAPTER 4

1 Forasmuch then as Ha'masha'yakh (The Anointed One) suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for He who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from transgression,

2 that you no longer should abide the rest of your time in the flesh for the desires of men, but for the will of ALUAH.

3 For we have spent enough of our past time doing the desire of the nations, and having walked in indecencies, lusts, drunkenness, wild parties, carousings, and abominable idolatries.

4 They think it is strange that you do not run with them into the same excess of riot, blaspheming:

5 who will give account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.

6 For to this end the Bashar’ah (Good News) was preached even to the dead, that they might be judged indeed as men in the flesh, but abide as to ALUAH in the rukh.

7 But the end of all is near. Therefore be of sound mind, self controled, and attentive in prayer.

8 And above all be earnest in your love among yourselves, for love covers a multitude of transgressions.

9 Be hospitable to one another without grumbling.

10 As each has received a gift, employ it in serving one another, as good managers of the favor of ALUAH in its various forms.

11 If anyone speaks, let it be as it were the very words of ALUAH. If anyone serves, let it be as of the strength which ALUAH supplies, that in all ALUAH may be esteemed through 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 (YAHUSHA) Ha'masha'yakh (The Anointed One), to whom belong the esteem and the rule forever and ever. So Be It.

12 Beloved, do not be astonished at the fiery trial which has come upon you to test you, as though a strange matter happened to you.

13 But because you are partakers of the sufferings of Ha'masha'yakh (The Anointed One), rejoice: that at the revelation of His esteem you also may rejoice with exceeding joy.

14 If you are insulted for The Name of Ha'masha'yakh (The Anointed One), you are joyful because the RUKH of esteem and of ALUAH rests on you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is esteemed.

15 For let none of you suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or an evil doer, or a meddler.

16 But if one of you suffers for being of Ha'masha'yakh (The Anointed One), let him not be ashamed, but let him esteem ALUAH in this matter.

17 For the time has come for judgment to begin with the household of ALUAH. And if it begins first with us, what will happen to those who do not obey the Good News of ALUAH?

18 “And if it is difficult for the righteous to be saved, what will happen to the wicked and the sinner?"

19 Therefore let them also who suffer according to the will of ALUAH in doing good entrust their beings to a trustworthy Creator.

CHAPTER 5

1 I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Ha'masha'yakh (The Anointed One), and who will also share in the esteem that will be revealed.

2 Shepherd the flock of ALUAH which is among you, exercising the oversight, not under compulsion, but voluntarily, not for corrupt gain, but willingly,

3 neither as being sovereigns over those entrusted to you, but making yourselves examples to the flock.

4 When the chief Shepherd is revealed, you will receive the crown of esteem that does not fade away.

5 In the same way, you younger ones, be subject to the elder. And all of you clothe yourselves with humility, to subject yourselves to one another, for "ALUAH resists the proud, but gives favor to the humble."

6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of ALUAH, that He may exalt you in due time,

7 casting all your worries on Him, because He cares for you.

8 Be sober and self controled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

9 Withstand him steadfast in your trust, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings.

10 But The ALUAH of all favor, who called you to His eternal esteem by Ha'masha'yakh (The Anointed One) 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 (YAHUSHA), after you have suffered a little while complete, establish, strengthen, and establish you.

11 To Him be the esteem and the power forever and ever. So Be It.

12 Through Silouanos, our trustful brother, as I consider him, I have written to you briefly, exhorting and witnessing that this is the true favor of ALUAH in which you stand.

13 She who is in Babal, chosen together with you, greets you, and so does Markos, my son.

14 Greet one another with a kiss of love. Shalum (Peace) be to you all who are in Ha'masha'yakh (The Anointed One) 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 (YAHUSHA). So Be It.
